Hope-  Friday afternoon at the gymnasium in Hope, student-athlete Kaleo Anderson signed with Hendrix College to continue his academic and football career. A crowded gym filled with family, friends, teammates, and coaches spoke wonders about the young man from Hope. Kaleo was described as a leader not only on the field, but in the classroom as well, where he is in line to be named Valedictorian. The coaches marveled at his work ethic and his dedication to the program. Everyone in attendance today could sense the respect that his coaches and faculty had for Kaleo, emphasizing that his work in the classroom was outstanding. Kaleo was also awarded with the Heidi Lane Hoglund scholarship this afternoon. Kaleo Anderson is a multi-sport athlete, his tremendous hard-work allows him to excel in not only football, but basketball, track, and baseball as well. Hendrix is definitely gaining a great person, athlete, and student.
