Sidney Ross came in the game a minute into the third quarter and helped spark a very impressive third quarter when the Bobcats flipped the game as they outscored the Cardinals by 17 points in the third quarter to take a 58-49 lead into the final quarter.
The fourth quarter went back and forth and got really tight late, but Eddrick Lard knocked down two free throws to extend the lead to 5 points to clinch the 76-71 win for the Bobcats to improve to 4-1 in conference.
Kyle Whiteman scorched the nets for 26 points to lead the Hope offense as he continues to impress this season. Jay Monk played a great game for the Bobcats as he poured in 19 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and dished out 2 assists. Isaac Love posted a double-double as he scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Love also had 6 assists.
Sidney Ross scored 5 points, 5 offensive rebounds, and the Bobcats were at a +22 advantage with Ross in the game. Eddrick Lard finished with 5 points, KD Gulley had 4 points, and Corinthian Brown added 3 points. The Bobcats played great defense in the third quarter to really flip the game in their favor.
Hope traveled to Magnolia on Wednesday night for a conference matchup with the Panthers.
