With both teams eliminated for playoff contention, this game will come down to which team wants to end its season on a positive note.
Coach Turner said Wednesday, "We had the best day of practice we have had in a while on Wednesday. I believe we will come out with a lot of energy Friday night."
A big senior class on this Bobcat team will try to end their careers on a high note as they try to knock off Magnolia who are winless in road games this season.
Turner spoke on the Panthers' offense, "They run a flex-bone offense. It is going to come down to our kids being disciplined."
Magnolia is coming off a 28-14 win over DeQueen last week. Magnolia has a solid defense, but I believe the Bobcats will have success against the secondary of the Panthers. Look for Tyler Patterson to get the ball out quick and let this athletic receiving core go to work.
Tamorian Lindsey and KD Gulley could have big games out of the backfield as well. Expect the Bobcats defense to come out and put on a great showing on senior night. The Bobcats will have to know their assignments and limit the big plays against the Panthers. Senior Night festivities will begin at 6:20 p.m. with kickoff set for 7:00 pm. Go Bobcats!!!
