Nashville- The Bobcats spotted the Scrappers a 15-0 lead to begin the game, only to come storming back late and top Nashville 56-53. In a game where the Bobcats trailed at the half 32-19, a huge third quarter set up a comeback win in the biggest game of the year thus far for Hope. Issac Love led the Bobcats with 24 points, including multiple late crunch-time free throws. Triston Young caught fire in the second half and scorched the net for 18 points, most of which came late in the game. A much-needed boost came from Ke’shaun King as he added 6 points and 6 rebounds off the bench. Great defense played a huge part in the comeback win down the stretch.
The Bobcats are back in action Tuesday night in Magnolia.
