Mena- Weather cut the game 5 minutes short Wednesday night as the Bobcats and Bearcats ended the game tied 3-3. Aniell Felipe got the scoring going early as he was awarded a penalty kick and he converted for the first goal of the night for the Bobcats. Alexander Brand then found Irvin Castrejon with a nice pass for Hope’s 2nd goal of the night. Irvin Castrejon would then go on to assist Alexander Brand for the Bobcats’ third goal of the game. The game ended in a tie, bringing the Bobcats conference record to 1-0-1. That leaves the Bobcats tied for 2nd place with Arkadelphia, who they play on Friday in a big 4A South Conference game.
