Bobcats Win Conference Opener 62-20 Over Ashdown
Ashdown- The Bobcats piggy-backed off a great weekend in Paris, Texas as they opened conference play on Tuesday with a decisive 42-point win against the Panthers, 62-20.  

The defense was dominant, and the Bobcats controlled the pace throughout the entire game as Hope starts its conference run 1-0. Ten Bobcats scored points for Hope, as a well balanced attack kept Ashdown struggling to figure out an answer Tuesday night. 

Kyle Whiteman scored 14 points to lead the Bobcats in scoring, including knocking down two three-pointers, and added 3 assists. Sidney Ross scored 13 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Isaac Love knocked down two three-pointers and finished with 9 points and 4 rebounds. KD Gulley had a great night with 9 points and 9 rebounds as he dominated the glass. 

Keshaun King (6), Corinthian Brown (4), Jay Monk (2), Jalen Staggers (2), Kamron Walton (2), and Eddrick Lard (1) each scored for the Bobcats. 

The Bobcats are back in action on Friday night at home as they host Malvern for another big conference matchup.
