Hope- Triston Young hit the biggest free throws of the Bobcats season thus far, setting up a showdown in Nashville on Friday night. Young led the Bobcats with 23 points, including multiple crunch time buckets late in the game. Malvern jumped out to an 18-11 lead after the first quarter. The Bobcats answered in the second outscoring the Leopards by 6 points to bring the score to 31-30 at the half in favor of Malvern. The second half was back and forth the entire way. With the score tied at 66 with just seconds remaining, Young was fouled going up for the game winner. The victory was sealed with the made free throws and the playoff chances remained intact. Issac Love finished the game with 13 points and Draelon Williams added 12.
The Bobcats travel to Nashville Friday night in a must win game.
