The Department of Health has released the 'Boil Water' Notice confirmed on 2/20/2021 10:02:24 PM by Les Patterson for the Hope Water System with exception of the Oakhaven area. This order was issued as a precautionary measure because of the possibility that contaminated water may have entered the distribution system as a result of complete loss in normal system pressure.

Bacteriological samples taken on Sunday, February 21, 2021 were found to be free of bacterial contamination and a satisfactory disinfectant level has been established throughout the distribution system.  The water is therefore considered 'Safe' for human consumption and the 'Boil Water' notice is hereby lifted.
