Breakfast Returns to Williams Tavern Restaurant
(WASHINGTON, Ark.) – As in the nineteenth century past, take time to get a solid meal before starting your day. Williams Tavern Restaurant, located at Historic Washington State Park, will begin serving breakfast once again on Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. beginning on Friday, Oct. 17. Eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy and more will be part of the breakfast options to order. Other new additions for the fall season will be a daily soup and salad bar during lunch hours and a selection of various flavored coffees from pumpkin spice to caramel, which would be great with one of the restaurant’s famous desserts. Williams Tavern is an original tavern structure built around 1832 that was located on the Southwest Trail at the community of Marlbrook and owned by John Williams. As many other travelers have done, come rest a spell and enjoy local home-cooked food.

 

Williams Tavern Restaurant is open Tuesday through Sunday for lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Daily lunch specials and a soup and salad bar are offered on a daily basis. For to-go orders or booking an evening party, contact the restaurant at 870-983-2890. Williams Tavern Restaurant is located just off U.S. Highway 278 at 105 SW Carroll Street in Washington, Arkansas.
