A ground crew in yellow vests managed to snag cords dangling from the blimp's cockpit as it came in for a smooth landing.  Then they towed the blimp to a tethering platform. On both sides could be seen a side view of basketball great Magic Johnson, who is appearing in several Capital One commercials run during the Men's NCAA Basketball Tournament. The Final Four takes place in San Antonio this year.

The City of Hope Facebook page announced the blimp would be landing between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. It was right on time, landing at about 2:36 p.m.

A second airship was said by the site to be landing soon after.
