Carry the Load made a short stop in Hope this morning to visit with families who have lost loved ones fighting for their country. Pictured are several family members who were able to sign their loved one's name on a backpack to be carried to Dallas and be honored at a memorial service.

Carry the Load makes this trip to Dallas every year on Memorial Day Weekend, stopping at various locations throughout their journey to "pick up" those that have given the ulitmate sacrifice. The signed backpack holds an American Flag which is then placed at the memorial site.
