The Hope Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors hosted the Hospitality Table this morning at Hope Farmers’ Market and brought more than the usual tasty treats. In addition to breakfast snacks with juice and coffee, each Chamber Ambassador brought mementos from his or her business or organization so market patrons were treated to items like fans, fly swatters, pens, sunscreen, and more.
Chamber representative Trevor Moses said the group was thrilled to be at the market today. “We are excited to be here!” Moses said. “It’s great to get out and visit with members of the community, especially our local farmers and vendors.”Â
A new vendor at Farmers’ Market this week was Cilla’s Cookie Company with her stylishly decorated sweets. Others in attendance today were Solomon farms, Salinas farms, Arnold Farms, the Mint Man, Farm on the Hill, Farm Fresh Eggs, Two Chicks and a Fox, and Carolyn's Kitchen.
Hope Farmers' Market provides locally-grown, fresh produce, in addition to homemade wares, and takes place every Tuesday at the Hub in downtown Hope from 7am to 11am.
