Charitable Christian Medical Clinic Fish Fry a Success
Thursday night the Charitable Medical Clinic held its Annual Fish Fry at the Hope Fair Park Coliseum. This is the clinic's most important fundraiser every year. The funds raised go towards helping area residents that have no medical insurance or have limited medical access.

Tim Nix, CCMC fish fry organizer stated, "We want to thank the community for its continued support. Also, to McDonalds, Chicken Express, Sheba’s, Unity Baptist Church Youth Group, Garrett Memorial Youth Group and many others that helped make the event a success." He also would like to thank those who prepared all the deserts for the desert auction. He said, "The Hope Lions Club members again did a great job cooking the fish, chicken, and all the trimmings. During the fish fry almost 600 were served and over $ 6,000.00 was raised.
