The Rotary Club of Prescott held its annual Chili and Soup Fundraiser Friday evening starting at 4:00 p.m. in the Prescott Junior High School cafeteria.

Among the choices available were chilis, red or white, with beans or without, potato or broccoli and cheese soup. Ticket buyers could also choose either cornbread or tortilla chips and were served a generous piece of chocolate cake and a bottle of water.

Rotary Club member Bo Young said the proceeds of ticket sales will go to various causes in the community: “We help fund laptops for Prescott High graduates, give socks to the nursing home. We help the kids at school that need supplies. Anything in the community that needs help we try to help.”

Bo and her husband Mike, also a Rotarian, both helped serve the food, assisted by President of the club Elaine Williams, who brought both red and white chili, and another Rotarian, Bill Hoover.
