Citizens for Arkansas Public Education and Students (CAPES) Looks Forward to June 20 Hearing

Arkansas: Citizens for Arkansas Public Education and Students (CAPES) is disappointed with the Arkansas Supreme Court ruling today that lifted the temporary restraining order put into place by the Pulaski County Circuit Court.

Obviously, we are not in agreement with the court’s opinion that there is “no irreparable harm” to the Marvell-Elaine School District and its employees who were terminated, and to CAPES. However, we look forward to the hearing on June 20 which we believe will reaffirm our position.

CAPES will only fight harder to make sure the People have the opportunity to say NO to LEARNS, so Arkansas’s citizens will have their voices heard about this important matter that impacts every public school child and employee in the state, as well as each local community, Regnat Populus!
