The City of Hope is currently accepting applications for the position of Airport Attendant. This is considered a full-time position and pays $15/hr. Hours will generally be 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. Monday through Friday with some occasional night and/or weekend work. An ideal candidate can work mostly unsupervised and is detail oriented.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

1.         Clean Airport lobby/lounge/bathrooms/hangar

2.         Monitor and order fuel

3.         Mow along runways and spray around runway lights

4.         Mow along entrance road and some Highway frontage

5.         Complete facility inspections

6.         Assist aviation users to fuel their equipment during working hours

7.         Occasionally respond to issues arising at the airport after-hours

8. Maintain and inspect the vehicles and equipment

9.         Keep the FAA database of Hope Airport based aircraft up-to-date

10.       Report any need for repairs (windows, plumbing, HVAC, electric, etc.) to the Airport Manager
