The Hope Civitan Club recently heard from Ronnie "Red" Smith, owner of Bar S Environmental, LLC., and a member of Civitan.  He gave an informative program on lawn and turf issues, such as fertilizing, use of pesticides and herbicides, fire ant control, and where to find information on other problems.  The Hope Civitan Club meets at 6 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at Dos Loco Gringos Restaurant.  Red is pictured with Mona Still, president of the Hope Civitan Club.
