Cobb, a lifelong resident of Prescott and former administrative assistant at Prescott High School, shared her excitement for the new role.

“I know most of you know me, but I’ve lived here my whole life, and I love this community,” Cobb said. “I’ve served it for most of my life, and I’m excited for this new journey and the opportunity to serve in a different capacity. If any of you need anything, please give me a call.”

President of the Chamber Board Cassidy Lawrence welcomed attendees and encouraged community engagement with the Chamber.

“We’re excited to have this coffee this morning to introduce our new Executive Director, Ms. Valarie Cobb,” Lawrence said. “Several board members are here wearing our Chamber shirts, so if you have any questions, please reach out to one of us. Thank you all for coming.”

Lawrence then invited the new director to say a few words. 

Guests enjoyed refreshments including spinach dip with crackers, cookie dough dip with Teddy Grahams, fresh fruits and vegetables and croissant sandwiches along with punch and lemonade.
