Community Coffee at the Clinton Birthplace Home
The Hope Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce held this week’s Community Coffee with a special host, The President William Jefferson Clinton Birthplace Home National Historic Site. Since the historic home cannot allow food or drink inside, attendees gathered at the nearby Klipsch Museum of Audio History Visitor's Center  to enjoy refreshments before touring the birthplace home.

Park Guide Kevin Alexander led the group through the house, sharing history and stories about President Clinton’s early years in Hope. Guests learned many details about the site and its significance, and the tour was enjoyed by all.

Executive Director of the Hope Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce, Christy Burns said, “I love this site [for] the tourism it brings to Hope, and I was excited to tour the home once again. It never gets old.”

The community coffee drew a crowd of local residents who came out to connect with one another, enjoy the morning, and celebrate one of Hope’s most historic treasures. It’s a definite must see for all!
