Sheba’s catered the event, offering a wide variety of delicious options. Guests enjoyed ham slices and ham sliders, meatballs, shrimp, spinach dip, chicken dip, sweet treats, sugar cookie cake, red velvet mini cakes, and more. Punch and water were served as everyone mingled, visited, and enjoyed the warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Christy Burns, Executive Director of the Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce, said, “This coffee always feels like the official start of the holiday season in our community. The Courthouse staff puts so much heart into hosting, and it truly brings people together. We love seeing everyone slow down for a moment to enjoy fellowship, food, and a little Christmas cheer.”
Courthouse employees once again worked together to help provide the large spread of food and treats, continuing a tradition that many look forward to each year.
Next week’s Community Coffee will be hosted by Farmers Bank & Trust at their main location on 3rd Street.
