Washington, D.C. — Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) released the following statement with Senator John Boozman (R-Arkansas) after the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rejected an air-quality plan Arkansas officials proposed:
“By rejecting Arkansas’s proposal and refusing to allow any further revisions, the EPA has acted in bad faith and is imposing an onerous federal mandate on our state. We support in full the fight for Arkansas’s interest against this inept process and will aid our state’s efforts at the federal level.”
