Curley Wolves Beat Ouachita 13-2

Prescott- The Curley Wolves turned a 7-2 lead into a 13-2 blowout in a 6-run fifth inning Tuesday night. Four Curley Wolves had 2 hits as they Prescott offense showed up and showed out against the Warriors as they banged out 12 total hits as a team. Avery Hubbard threw the opening inning for the Curley Wolves and kept the Warriors off the scoreboard. Carston Poole pitched the 2ndĀ and 3rdĀ innings of the game keeping the Warriors scoreless through 3 innings of play. Spencer Hubbard and Branen Bradley finished up the game on the mound securing the win for the Curley Wolves. Pierce Yates had a great night at the plate reaching base safely in all 4 of his at-bats, with a double, single, and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBIs. Carston Poole and Spencer Hubbard each had 2 singles and 2 RBIs and Avery Hubbard had 2 singles and an RBI. Talan Smith, Branen Bradley, Marketric Mixon, and Keegan Simmons each had hits for the Curley Wolves. Prescott was very active on the bases as well, swiping 10 bags with Caden Dice leading the way with 3 SBs. Great team win for the Curley Wolves as they gear up for conference play starting Wednesday as they travel to Glen Rose.
