Curley Wolves Dominant in 63-0 Win Over Lions
Horatio- The Curley Wolves hit the road on Friday night as they headed into Horatio for a conference matchup against the Lions. Prescott jumped out early as they scored 5 TDs in the opening quarter and the game was on cruise control after that. The KJ Page scampered in the endzone from 20 yards out to get the Wolves on the board. DeCari Prater found D'Wayne White for a 6-yard pitch and catch to give Prescott an early 14-0 lead. Prescott then scored a defensive scoop and score as Mario Brownlee took it to the house to extend their lead to 21-0. Michael Brownlee plowed into the endzone from the 1-yard line for a touchdown and then Prater found Spencer Hubbard for a 13-yard TD pass to give Prescott a commanding 35-0 lead after the opening quarter.

Early in the second quarter Prater would connect with D'Wayne White again for a 64-yard connection, for their second TD hookup. Kayden Gleason would find pay-dirt on a 4 yard TD run to give the Wolves a 49-0 lead at the half.

Amari Monk broke loose for an 18-yard TD run and then the defense scored its second TD of the game as Ja'Ryan Zachery had a scoop-and-score to cap off a great defensive performance by Prescott, as they secured the shutout and won 63-0.

The defense played great all night, allowing just 103 total yards and only 5 first downs. The Wolves forced 4 turnovers (1 INT, 3 Fumbles) as the defense continues to impress. Great game for the pass rush and the secondary for only allowing 19 total yards passing. And the linebacker group continues to fly to the football and make play after play.

The Wolves head to Camden Harmony Grove next week in a big conference matchup between two 2-0 teams.
