Lance Hawley

Prescott- It was senior night in Prescott Thursday as the Curley Wolves took on the visiting Lions from Jessieville in a conference matchup. Prescott fell behind early as the Lions jumped out to a 7-0 lead after the top half of the 2nd inning. Prescott fought back and cut the score down to 7-5, but in the top of the 4th Jessieville put up another crooked number to extend the lead to 12-5. Prescott continued to put up runs as Carston Poole blasted his 3rd homerun in the last 3 games, but the early lead was too much to overcome as Prescott dropped the game 15-9. Poole led the Curley Wolves with a HR and 2 singles while driving in a total of 3 runs. Branen Bradley also had 3 hits for Prescott including a double as he drove in 2 runs. Spencer Hubbard also had a multi-hit game with 2 singles. Talan Smith, Pierce Yates, Avery Hubbard, and Keegan Simmons each had hits for the Curley Wolves. The loss brings Prescott's conference record to 4-3 as they will begin the conference tournament next week as the Curley Wolves gear up for a deep playoff run.
