Curley Wolves take the win over Glen Rose; Cummings, Harvey medalists

The Prescott Curley Wolves Golf Team met Glen Rose on the course yesterday where both girls and boys took home the win, in addition to Jace Cummings and Kelsie Harvey earning a place as medalists. This is Cummings fourth time to leave a match as a medalist this season, and Harvey's second. (See full score sheet for the match below)

Coach Mike Godwin said yesterday was a good day and that the match was great practice for the upcoming District Tournament which will be hosted by Prescott this year. "All of our matches have given the teams some beneficial practice for District," Godwin said. "Like all players in sports, there are good days and bad days, and our goal leading up to the District Tourney is to have all our kids having good days consistently throughout the tournament. Playing on our home course should be an advantage for us, as well."

The Curley Wolves play two matches next week on their home course, and the following week is the District Tournament, played at home on the Prescott Country Club Golf Course.
