Curley Wolves Top Bobcats Friday Night, DeCari Prater has 5 Total Touchdowns
Prescott- The all-time series standings of the Hope/Prescott rivalry was knotted at 42-42-4 and on Friday Prescott took the series lead with a 49-0 win over Hope. It did not take long for DeCari Prater to make an impact on the game as he scored the first TD of the game on the ground and went on to a season-high 5 total touchdowns on Friday night against Hope. The Curley Wolves defense was pretty dominant as well as they pitched their first shutout of the season.

Prater would finish the game with 2 rushing TDs, 2 passing TDs, and 1 punt return for a TD. He tossed TDs to D'Wayne White and Michael Brownlee. KJ Page found the endzone on a TD scamper, as he ran for 94 yards on just 4 carries. Dalton Stockton came in the game and tossed a TD to Owen Glass in the final quarter. Jay Monk had some big plays for Prescott as well, including a 55-yard catch, 2 carries for 50 yards, and a kickoff return for 50 yards as well. Spencer Hubbard added a catch and Tiquan Box gained some tough yardage on the ground as well. Amari Scott had 57 yards on the ground for the Bobcats on 9 carries and Tray Gomer added 35 yards rushing. Noah Cheatham had a 47-yard catch early in the game.

Defensively, D'Wayne White had a sack and forced a fumble, Colton Arnold and Brian Woodley each had a sack as well. Joseph Chavarria, Zander Carter, and Takaden McKillion played great upfront for the Wolves. Jayden Purtle, Cliff Davis, and Mario Brownlee led the Prescott defense against the Bobcats running attack. The secondary for Prescott played well and made some really good plays, as Richard Benton, Lavonte Gleason, DeCari Prater, and Michael Brownlee all played well. Christian Matlock forced a fumble for Hope, while Tray Gomer, Joel Bello, and Noah Cheatham all had multiple tackles and played well for the Bobcats.

Another bright spot for the Prescott team is their kicker Miguel Barrado-Ribera, as he was a perfect 7/7 on PAT's and had numerous touchbacks as well on kickoffs.

Prescott will host Fouke next week. Kickoff at 7PM. Hope will travel to DeQueen. Kickoff at 7PM.
