(Little Rock, AR) -- Championship Wrestling of Arkansas (CWA) returns to the Maumelle Event Center in North Little Rock, AR on Saturday, January, 18th, 2020. The event, “No Surrender” will feature legends & superstars of the “squared circle”, including WWE Hall of Fame member & current WWE RAW commentator, Jerry “The King” Lawler, who will be putting his wrestling career on the line in a “Title vs. Career” match with the current Arkansas Heavyweight champion, “The LVR Boy” Matt Riviera.
Matt Riviera, a native of Russellville, Arkansas, is not only the Arkansas Heavyweight champion, but is also a 3x former NWA World Tag Team champion, has starred on two reality shows for the VH1 & Bravo networks, has defended his titles during 2 tours of Japan, and is looking to add the honor of retiring the legendary Jerry “The King” Lawlerto his long list of accolades, should he triumph in their match at “No Surrender”.

Other matches scheduled for the “No Surrender” event include a 1st time match between former WWE Superstar, Davey Boy Smith, Jr. & former Worlds Heavyweight champion and Pine Bluff, Arkansas native, Tim Storm. In a Ladies Match, Kacee Carlisle will face “The Badstreet Beauty” Miranda Gordy, the daughter of WWE Hall of Famemember Terry “Bam Bam” Gordy.
A special “VIP Meet & Greet” will also take place at 5 p.m. prior to the “No Surrender” event for VIP ticket holders only, where fans can mingle with the Legends & Superstars of the CWA.
Also on hand for the “Meet & Greet” and the “No Surrender” event will be the iconic “Superstar” Bill Dundee, as well as Memphis Wrestling announcer, Dave Brown. Bell Time for “No Surrender” is 7 p.m.
