Danny Watson makes large donation to Scout Troop 5
Retired State Representative Danny Watson made a donation of a thousand dollars to Hope's Troop 5 to help pay for their July Colorado Rafting Trip. Representative Watson presented the check at the Troop's second BINGO event to raise funds for the trip. The two BINGOS chaired by Betty Wright raised $ 1650 for the youth.
Additional cash contributors were Mike Cox of Hope's Wendy's; Judy Davis and Canelia Hasley. Businesses sponsoring the events were Chicken Express of Hope and Arkadelphia, Raising Cane Chicken of Texarkana, Rowe's Leather, Townsend Outdoors, McAlisters of Texarkana, Longhorn Steak House, Starbucks, Tacos for Life and Andy's Frozen Custard.
