FAYETTEVILLE -- The Link Academy from Branson, Mo., who was committed to Arkansas has opted to reclassify and will join the team now.

Thompson, 6-2, 170, is a 5-star point guard who committed to the Razorbacks on June 10. He's expected to enroll at Arkansas very soon and possibly play in the Bahamas Tour slated for end of this month.

His last game at the Peach Jam this week Thompson scored 25 points and handed out six assists.

With the 247Composite, Thompson was ranked the No. 25 recruit, No. 6 point guard and top player in Missouri for the Class of 2027.

Arkansas now has 14 players on the roster for 2026-27 season. They are awaiting a decision from center Caleb Ourigou, 6-10, 240, to reclassify from 2027 to 2026.
