Desi Sills to Auburn

FAYETTEVILLE - Former Arkansas Razorbacks 3-year basketball letterman guard Desi Sills announced on social media Tuesday that he has committed to play for the Auburn University Tigers.

After Coach Eric Musselman’s Razorbacks completed their 25-7 in the NCAA Tournament’s Elite Eight, Sills of Jonesboro and Razorbacks 3-year letterman forward Ethan Henderson both submitted their names to the NCAA transfer portal.

Both left the UA but stayed in the SEC West with Sills announcing his commitment to Auburn after Henderson announced he will play for the Texas A&M Aggies.

Since the NCAA retained all 2020-2021 players’ eligibility for 2021-2022 because of how the covid-19 pandemic disrupted and in some cases entirely cancelled the 2020-2021 season, Sills and Henderson transfer with immediate two years eligibility.

While Sills and Henderson departed, the Razorbacks through the transfer portal recently added forwards Stanley Umude from the University of South Dakota and Au’Diese Toney from the University of Pittsburgh and and point guard Chris Lykes from the University of Miami.
