D.J. Wagner to enter transfer portal

FAYETTEVILLE -- Junior guard D.J. Wagner will enter the transfer portal when it opens on Tuesday according to various sources.

Wagner, 6-4, 190, had played the past two seasons at Arkansas following his freshman year at Kentucky. He followed John Calipari to Arkansas.

In 35 games this season, Wagner averaged 23.6 minutes per outing. Wagner averaged 7.4 points, 1.6 rebound, 2.4 assists and 0.9 steal each game. He shot 42.9% from the field and 34.6% from beyond the 3-point line.

Wagner is the second Razorback known to be entering the transfer portal. Karter Knox also is planning to enter the transfer portal when it opens.
