———————————————————————-

A truck has reportedly struck a pole on Hazel, North of I-30, breaking a power pole, dropping power lines in the road and shutting off power to some areas on the north side of town.

Officers have closed down Hazel north of the interstate until Hope Water & Light give the all clear. If you are traveling through the area, you will have to take an alternate route.

The outage has also shut down power to the traffic light at North Hazel and Bill Clinton Bypass. Officers are on scene to direct traffic.

No word yet on how long the outage and road closure will last. We will update as further information is available.
