Dragons Advance to Regionals for Back to Back Years with 27-Point Win Over Ashdown
Genoa- The Dragons had a few goals in mind before the year started and advancing to the regional tourney was one of them. Another goal is in their sights and could be achieved after a couple of more wins this weekend in the conference tournament. Genoa continues to bust it on the defensive side of the court, allowing just 40 points to the Panthers. Forcing a lot of turnovers and Peyton Hicks had 4 blocks on Thursday night. 

Genoa Central also played a balanced game on the offensive end of the floor, with three players in double figures. Peyton Hicks lit up the scoreboard with 27 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to post another 20-point double-double. Hicks also added 5 assists and had 4 blocks. Brayden Cobb poured in 11 points and had 4 assists, and 3 steals. Jaxson Muhl scored 10 points, had 6 boards, and 3 assists. Braxton Robertson scored 7 points, dished out 3 assists, and had 3 rebounds, while Nathaniel Thomas scored 5 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Brody Helms finished the game with 2 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. 

With the win, the Dragons advance to face Fouke on Friday night in the semifinals with a trip to the conference tournament finals on the line. The two teams split their regular season meetings.
