Upon arrival, Hempstead County Sheriff Officers observed two vehicles, a 2017 Toyota Tacoma and a 2014 International Semi-Tractor Trailer. The Toyota Tacoma was in the Eastbound lane of Highway 67 near the driveway of Southern LP Gas and the Semi-Tractor Trailer was parked on the shoulder of Highway 67 near the Hope Livestock Auction Sale Barn.

Preliminary reports state that the 2017 Toyota was exiting the Southern LP Gas Company driveway when the driver struck the right tandem of the Semi-Tractor Trailer that had been traveling Eastbound on Highway 67.

Pafford EMS was on scene and conducted medical evaluations of each driver. The accident was investigated by the Arkansas State Police with assistance from the Hempstead County Sheriff’s Department.
