Early voting starts today in both Hempstead, Nevada County Courthouses
Tuesday, February 17th, is the first day of early voting for the party primaries in Arkansas.  Nonpartisan races and millage decisions will be on both Democratic and Republican ballots. 

At the Hempstead County Courthouse, the line was moving quite briskly, with only a couple minutes delay between walking in, showing a photo ID and being shown to a voting machine.  

Early voting hours at both Hempstead and Nevada County Courthouses are, according to the Arkansas Secretary of State's Office, "are available between the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, ending at 5 p.m. on the Monday before the election."

The last day for early voting is Monday, March 2nd.
