Egg-stra special fun at the City of Hope Easter Egg Hunt

Egg-stra special fun at the City of Hope Easter Egg Hunt
Local youth didn't let cloudy skies and strong winds deter them from the egg-hunting fun today as scores of local children whizzed around Kelly Fields as fast as their tiny legs could carry them during the Hope Parks and Recreation Easter Egg Hunt. As usual, the whole event itself was over in a flash while kids raced to be the first to find the prize eggs, but the joyous laughter and delighted shrieks were enough to last in one's memory for hours.

Everyone's favorite cottontail was in attendance as well; the Easter Bunny was on the scene to hunt the pastel treasures with the kiddos and provide photo opportunities for families. Hope Parks and Rec Director Summer Chambers said the City of Hope purchased 4,000 eggs for the Easter Egg Hunt with the goal of giving local children and families a fun yet safe Easter holiday activity.

If the egg-cited reaction of the kids is one to go by, then it's safe to say this holiday family event was a suceess!
