FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas gymnastics’ hard work in the classroom this past season is paying off as eight Razorbacks were named Scholar All-Americans by the Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association on Thursday.

Reese Drotar, Norah Flatley, Kalyxta Gamiao, Maddie Jones, Emma Kelley, Jensen Scalzo, Cally Swaney and Lauren Williams all received the honor, given to athletes who have earned cumulative GPAs of 3.5 or above, or 3.5 or above in the 2022-23 academic year.

At least half of the team has earned Scholar All-America status in each of head coach Jordyn Wieber’s four seasons, and Arkansas has received 45 total Scholar All-American honors in her tenure. The Hogs finished the year with a 3.39 team GPA, which comes in fourth among SEC teams.

Arkansas also had 10 athletes make the SEC Winter Honor Roll and all four of its 2023 freshman receive SEC First Year Honor Roll honors to round out the team’s academic plaudits for the season.
