This show promises to transport audiences back in time to the days when Texarkana hosted then up-and-coming artists who would go on to become superstars.
“Texarkana helped make Elvis a legend,” says Texarkana, Arkansas Parks Director Adam Dalby, “This isn’t just a concert—it’s a celebration of our city’s musical legacy.”
This special performance not only showcases incredible talent but also supports the restoration of this historic site, where legendary artists such as Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis graced the stage. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Arkansas Municipal Auditorium Restoration Project, a community-driven initiative to preserve and revitalize one of Texarkana’s most treasured landmarks.
“Any renovations to the Arkansas Municipal Auditorium honor Texarkana’s place in music history,” said Ina McDowell, Director of Main Street Texarkana. “With community support, we can find a way to bring this legendary stage back to life for future generations.”
Todd Herendeen’s Elvis and Friends is scheduled for October 25.
