Fall & The Flu

As fall brings the flu, you may find yourself wondering how you or your loved ones get it — and how to get rid of it. Here’s our guide to flu season.

How you get it
People get the flu via airborne droplets from a sneeze or cough, or by touching contaminated surfaces.

How you feel
In one word — rotten. Symptoms can include exhaustion, fever, body aches, headache, sore throat, sneezing, coughing, vomiting and having diarrhea.

How you fight it
Rest, drink fluids and take medicine. Fever and aches should subside after three to five days. Coughing and tiredness can linger two weeks or more.
