Reed Camp, Agency Director, said the evening had been in the planning for three months. “We had everything from a tiki bar to a bouncy house to you name it. Every year we have a member appreciation and this year we decided to go with a theme.”
Almost 40 staff members and volunteers came to help prepare and serve the meal. Camp said enough food had been prepared for between 500 and 600 attendees. You can dine-in or get meals via the drive-through. Meals consist of a barbecue pork sandwich, potato salad, baked beans and sausage. Pineapple sundaes are served for dessert.
The event will continue until 7:30 p.m.
