Farm Credit Joins Hope Farmers' Market This Morning

Farm Credit joined the Hope Farmers' Market in downtown Hope this morning to host the Hospitality Table. Clay Lance, Farm Credit Vice President and Branch Manager, said the Farm Credit team was excited to participate this week. "We are honored to have the opportunity to be at the Hope Farmers' Market," said Lance. "These are the people we are here to serve. They have helped us over the years, so we want to be here to help them in return." The Farm Credit table had plenty of goodies with hot coffee, cold water, and snacks for patrons to choose.

As the season is beginning to wind down, there are still vendors attending each week with plenty of fresh produce and other homemade goodies. Arnold Farms, Heirloom Farms, and Salinas Farms had their fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables for shoppers. Aunt Fern and Carolyn's kitchen brought their delicious, homemade baked goods. Young Sprouts and Marilyn's Plants provided fresh cut flowers and plants. Also, David Langston, a fan-favorite, was on the scene with his jams and jellies. With just a few weeks left in this Farmers' Market season, local citizens interested in wares of the produce variety need to head on out to the Hub next Tuesday morning between 7 and 11am. Or if anyone is just interested in good coffee and an even better chat, then the Hope Farmers' Market is the place to be.
