Hamilton Haven received a very nice gift from Farmers Bank & Trust this Valentine's Day. A check for $2,607 was presented to the board at the Farmers Bank & Trust location in Prescott Friday afternoon by bank representatives. The money will be used to purchase a washer, dryer and cabinets for the home located at 350 East Second Street North in Prescott.

Hamilton Haven, scheduled to open in Spring 2020, is a temporary home for displaced individuals that will be available to citizens in Nevada, Hempstead and surrounding counties who have lost their home due to fire or natural disaster, those temporarily stranded, and others as determined by Hamilton Haven Leadership.

Executive Director, Michele Hamilton Rhodes, is very thankful for Farmers Bank & Trust and says that their donation will positively effect the community, "This shows that Farmers Bank & Trust has a heart for people in their community, so this check will bring comfort and hope to the people that will be needing it the most. We really appreciate their generous contribution."

Farmers Bank & Trust Vice President and Marketing Director, Rachael Schwartz Potter, and John Brannan, Market President, were on hand to present the check and were more than happy to help with a local cause, "Farmers Bank & Trust has a mission to give back to our communities. As we recently added Prescott to our banking family, we are proud to make a positive impact for our neighbors at the Hamilton Haven, said Potter.
