Farmers Bank & Trust (FB&T) sponsored the meal for the Hempstead County Cattlemen's Association monthly meeting yesterday and received a very warm welcome. The Association meets almost every month and endeavors to include other businesses and organizations from within the county for the meetings. Mark Lockhart, President of the Hempstead County Cattlemen's Association, said yesterday's event had a good turnout and participants enjoyed the meal. Farmers sponsors one of their meals at least once a year, and Lockhart said it is always a pleasure doing business with the team at Farmer's because "they are a great organization to work with."

FB&T Market President, Jacob Jones, says the Farmers crew looks forward to this event each year, as well. "We want to show our appreciation for this organization," Jones said. "They represent a very important demographic in Hempstead County. We have many farmers and cattlemen who are integral to our local economy, and Farmers Bank & Trust takes great joy in working with them all."
