Farmers Bank & Trust provides hospitality to a packed Farmers' Market

Farmers Bank & Trust (FB&T) hosted the Hospitality table at Hope Farmers' Market this morning to quite the crowd. When numerous local residents showed early to shop fresh fruit and veggies, honey, beef, baked goods, homemade wares, and more, the FB&T crew was ready to greet them with snacks and FB&T keepsakes, as well as information about their organization. Market President Jacob Jones said the Farmers team was delighted to join Hope Farmers' Market this morning. "We're so glad to be here," Jones said. "We enjoy any activity that allows us to interact with members of our community, and we also want to support our local farmers and vendors who bring this market to the community every week."

Also in attendance at the market today was a new vendor, Zoey's Simple Pleasures. This booth caters to our furry canine friends by creating healthy, homemade treats just for dogs. Zoey herself was on the scene with her human mom, Lisa Rogers, to attract market patrons to these new items.

Others in attendance today were Hannah's Berries, whose berries sold out pretty quickly, and fan-favorites the Mint Man and Aunt Fern's Fried Pies. Papa's Honey brought the local honey and pollen products while Farm on the Hill provided guests with the chance to acquire locally-raised, fresh beef. Salinas Farm, Reynolds Farm, Arnold Farms, Silvey Farms, Solomon Farms, Georgia Upton, Young Sprouts, Poppy's Pies, and Caroyln's Kitchen were also at the market today with their various produce selections, plants, baked goods, and other homemade items.

The Hope Farmer's Market takes place every Tuesday morning from 7am to 11am at the Hub in downtown Hope. Next week's host will be Farm Bureau Women's Committee.
