Executive Director of the Prescott Nevada County Chamber of Commerce Jamie Hillery said, “I would like to thank you all for coming out this morning to support Samantha and her family for opening Farmers Insurance. It’s always exciting when we have a ribbon-cutting in the community for a new business. Samantha is one of our chamber board members, serves on other boards and she is very active in the community. I am excited am just vey excited for her.”Â
Mayor Terry Oliver was present, said a few words, “Congratulations! Everyone talks about March Madness, and this family, I don’t know how you keep up with them. I didn’t know about all the boards that Samantha serves on but I do know about all of the businesses. They have more businesses than you can shake a stick it. My favorite business they have is Hayborn championship wrestling. You all need to come out to the fairgrounds and check out the wrestling events I guarantee you will have fun. We are proud of this family, they are making a big difference,” Mayor Oliver said.
Samantha Hayes, Agent said, “Thank you everyone for coming today. We do have several businesses, Farmers Insurance, Haybarn Automotive down on 67 and Shaley Rae's Boutique. Many of you already know me, I started out at State Farm, I was a paper pusher and I thought that’s all I was supposed to do. But as I learned the business and began to understand it, I really liked it, especially the educational side of it. Even if I do not have your business, at least you’ll have a better understanding of what insurance is and what you are required to have. Again, I thank you, and I appreciate all of you.”
The ribbon was cut out front as many gathered for a photo.
