Visitors left with plenty of snacks and goodies including their very own cow patties and chicken scratch, i.e., cookies and veggie treats! The Farm Bureau Women’s Committee is made up of Hempstead County Farm Bureau members who are devoted to community and agriculture. Their goals are promoting agriculture through education, providing community service to support area farmers, and planning activities and events to stimulate agricultural growth in Hempstead County. 

Committee President Mindy Lockhart shared with SWARK.Today the organization's enthusiasm about hosting today's Chamber Community Coffee. “We are excited to host the community coffee today. We have lots of good food, we brought Betsy out for everyone to milk and we are proud to bring our community in to show them what we do in agriculture and promoting agriculture in Hempstead County and through the school system,” Lockhart said.
