Event:FLOOD ADVISORY
Alert:FLOOD ADVISORY ISSUED MAY 5 AT 3:27PM CDT UNTIL MAY 5 AT 6:30PM CDT

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southwest Arkansas, including the following
counties, Hempstead, Howard, Little River, Miller and Nevada.

* WHEN...Until 630 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.
River or stream flows are elevated. Ponding of water in other
areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 326 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Hope, Prescott, Emmet, Blevins, Perrytown, Fulton,
Washington, McNab, Oakhaven, Sutton, Laneburg, Boughton and
Red Bluff.
