Alert: | FLOOD ADVISORY ISSUED MAY 23 AT 8:41AM CDT UNTIL MAY 23 AT 11:45AM CDT * WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rain fall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southwest Arkansas, including the following counties, eastern Hempstead and Nevada. * WHEN...Until 1145 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 840 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen since early this morning. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area through 10 AM. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
