| FLOOD WARNING ISSUED OCTOBER 4 AT 3:15PM CDT UNTIL OCTOBER 4 AT 6:15PM CDT
* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessiverainfall is occurring. Many roads are still impassable or washed
out.
* WHERE...A portion of southwest Arkansas, including the following
counties, Hempstead, Howard, Lafayette, Little River, Miller and
Nevada.
* WHEN...Until 615 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 313 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the
warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 5 and 6
inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
the warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Texarkana, Hope, Emmet, Perrytown, Fulton, McNab, Patmos,
Oakhaven, Hervey, Homan, Piney Grove, Red Bluff, Bright Star
and Millwood.
