PRESCOTT — The Bank of Delight recently donated $700 to nonprofit FoodShare Arkansas.

 “FoodShare is a valuable resource in Nevada County, and we’re honored to support its mission,” said Bank of Delight president Vince Grimes.

“We welcome this donation from the Bank of Delight,” said LaShelle Hamilton, FoodShare Arkansas program director. “This is helpful in continuing our work supporting needy families in our area.”

FoodShare Arkansas, located at 229 East Main Street in Prescott, is a food pantry serving Nevada County residents.

“Community engagement is an important part of what we do at the Bank of Delight,” Grimes added.

Contributions to FoodShare Arkansas are tax deductible. They are open from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
